Well, talk about being stretched....well...I suppose no one was actually talking about being stretched...but I am now, haha.
So anyway, today I had English Composition for 3 hours and 20 minutes today! Now that's a stretch, even for me! I mean, sitting in a classroom for that long?!?!!? Who comes up with this stuff? And she assigned an essay that's due next week. I mean, first day of classes and you get and essay! Due the next week! It's even more hard when you know that this weekend you have to go to a resort, and you're DEFINITELY not going to get said essay done. I'll find the time to do it, though.
So after that class, I went to piano lessons. I took them from a guy named Kevin Keng...or something like that. He's pretty neat. We were emailing back and forth, and he had asked what my musical background was, and I told him that I played at Watchmen concerts, and he checked out the website and thought it was pretty cool. After that, we had lunch, which was some kinda....meat pasta thingie. After that, I had vocal ensemble. I thought that was just a class where you learn kinda how to sing, you know? Learn parts.
NO.
You're basically thrown into a choir, and asked to sing. They give you a sheet, and someone plays the piano, but it's still...interesting...when you've never done any sort of choir stuff before. I was SOOO freaked out in the beginning...but after we got to singing a few songs, and I figured out kinda how to do this, it turned out ok. I actually kind of enjoyed it. I didn't know what type of singer I was, though, like...tenor....alto, bass, etc. There was a few people in the same boat as me, though. It was funny. Other people went through several scales, but when he got to me, he played a few notes, looked at me and said, "Oh ya, you're easily a tenor." And I was like...that's it? That was fast! So that turned out pretty well. I was happy.
Now I have a LOT of questions to do otherwise I am going to TOTALLY get behind my homework.
Oh ya, just as a side note, a friend here got me interested in World of Warcraft. I've been playing that a while, just for those of you who know what it is.
I'll type some more later! Cya!

Talk to you soon,
Love & lots of thoughts,

Well you're definitely not an alto, Matt. :) Have fun with the choir, though! I'm on the choir for our hugemongous christmas musical. I'm pumped. It's totally fun.
And good luck with your essay!! Hope you had a good retreat.
